Through experiments in both digital and physical formats, Emptiness—a series of stylized miniature landscapes—seeks to evoke a meditative and contemplative experience. It offers a pathway for escaping the constraints of the established world, gently guiding the viewer toward a state of inner peace. The deliberate minimalism of each composition, featuring pale white, human-made objects—a boat, a door, and a torii—resting on deep blue plates of water, draws the viewer’s focus and cultivates a sense of tranquility. This careful arrangement reflects a harmonious balance between human creation and the natural world.

Emptiness unfolds as both a visual and emotional narrative, transcending the physical space it occupies. It absorbs the surrounding atmosphere—the “Qi”—and creates a setting that harmonizes stillness and motion, establishing a tranquil sanctuary where the mind is free to wander, ponder, and reflect. In this quiet, sacred realm, stillness gives rise to a subtle inner motion, inviting the imagination to roam. It is within this space that the boundary between reality and the ethereal begins to dissolve.
